ACCESSIBLE
SPACES IN THE WEMBLEY GRAND HALL
|
Under the public entertainments license the following
provision has been made for wheelchair accessible spaces:
Wembley Grand Hall
- 8 spaces (Block 16 Row J). Space is also available for 8
walking disabled patrons. If required, an additional 8 spaces can be made
available at the back of Block 10 (Row J) - advance notice is required.
If you are not able to attend the venue
independently and require a personal assistant to be
with you at all times, to help with everyday tasks, the
personal assistant or carers ticket will be free of
charge. If you are able to attend the venue
independently and do not require a personal assistant
but choose to bring a companion with you, their ticket
will be charged at the same price as yours.
If a visitor arrives in a wheelchair but does not need the wheelchair to
access the Auditorium, the wheelchair must be stored in the designated storage
area.
Under the above licence,
wheelchairs are not allowed in any other parts of the Auditoriums.

ASSISTANCE DOGS
|
|
Assistance dogs are welcome, however on certain
Wembley Grand Hall
events (dependent on sound levels - please check with Operations Manager), they
are not allowed to remain in the Auditoria during the performance. A Steward
will accompany the visitor to their seat with the dog and then take the dog
away, to be looked after by staff in a predetermined area. Alternatively, the
visitor may be offered a Balcony seat or Hospitality Box where assistance dogs
are allowed.

BOX OFFICE
|
|
There is an
additional Box Office number for visitors with disabilities to the
Wembley Grand Hall and Wembley Showhall. For further
ticket and venue information please phone 020
8902 4141. This line is operational Monday to Saturday from 9.30am - 5.30pm or
alternatively, the Box Office is open to personal callers Mondays -
Saturday 10.00am to 4.30pm.

HEARING ASSISTANCE
|
Induction loops are available for hearing aid users fitted with a "T" switch
in Blocks 4, 13 & 16 of the Wembley Grand Hall. The Pavilion also offers an
infra red system.

Advice and assistance
is available at the Conference and
Exhibition Centre Reception Desks on arrival and during the event.

MEDICAL & WHEELCHAIR HIRE |
|
Fully trained medical staff are on duty during event open hours - see plan
for location of Medical units. Wheelchairs are available for hire on a £30.00
returnable deposit - please call 0208 795 8140 to arrange.

PARKING |
|
Designated accessible parking is dealt with by CSP (020 8902 8833, Extensions
3314/3315). Spaces have been allocated to each building. Set down and pick-up is
available outside the buildings, however vehicles may be required to park in the
main car park. If booking tickets through Wembley Box Office, car parking passes
can be ordered at the same time.

We are registered with Typetalk, the textphone
relay service for deaf and hard of hearing people.

TAXIS |
|
Accessible taxis can be booked for wheelchair visitors from the Wembley
Conference and Exhibition centres Reception Desks through Computer Cab (020 8909
2999).
